we all grew up happily causing chaos
its all you can do when your stuck in the middle of nowhere

and then he came along
a tall dark shadow towering over his son
making promises with stacks of money
and endless stacks of ammunition

they lead us there
the place we die alone

the way they could cross the line, i'll admit we were jealous
but the thrill was enough to fulfill us
we were all too young, to know what was going on

it all went bad when the shadow's eyes
